Front Opening Luggage: Features, Sizes and Buying Guide

Front opening luggage gives you a practical way to organize travel essentials and access frequently used items without opening the entire suitcase. If you travel for business, take short trips, or need convenient storage for personal belongings, a traditional suitcase may not always meet your needs. A front-opening design can make packing and unpacking easier, especially when you need quick access to your belongings in airports, hotels, or other busy environments.

HIHO offers a modern PC hard-shell trolley suitcase designed for convenient travel. Available in 20-inch and 25-inch sizes, this model combines a front-opening structure, an embedded combination lock, silent spinner wheels, and practical accessories. For retailers, distributors, and brands sourcing travel products, HIHO also accepts OEM and ODM orders, providing opportunities to discuss product customization and wholesale requirements.

Why Choose Front Opening Luggage?

A front-opening suitcase offers an alternative to conventional luggage by making selected contents easier to reach. Depending on the internal layout, this design can help you retrieve documents, accessories, or other travel essentials without rearranging everything inside.

Convenient Access for Everyday Travel

HIHO’s front opening luggage features a full-opening design intended to improve access to stored items. This can be useful when you need to organize belongings in a hotel room, retrieve essentials during a business trip, or pack efficiently before departure.

Key design features include:

• Front-opening access: Makes it easier to reach stored belongings.
• Embedded combination lock: Provides an integrated locking mechanism.
• Large spinner wheels: Support smooth maneuvering through airports and hotel corridors.
• Foldable cup holder: Offers a place for a drink when you need your hands free.
• Handy hook: Provides a convenient point for hanging suitable lightweight items.
• Three-level telescopic handle: Allows you to adjust the handle height to your preferred position.

These features focus on practical travel needs rather than appearance alone.

PC Hard Shell Luggage with Practical Materials

The shell material affects a suitcase’s weight, structure, and suitability for frequent travel. HIHO identifies PC (polycarbonate) as the main material for this front-opening suitcase, with ABS components and aluminum used in parts of the product structure.

Material and Construction Features

The listed construction and design details include:

• PC hard shell: Provides a structured exterior for everyday travel.
• ABS components: Used in selected structural or hardware components.
• Aluminum telescopic handle: Designed for adjustable pulling and pushing.
• PP and TPE wheel materials: Listed in the product specifications.
• Reinforced handle construction: Intended to support comfortable handling.

Material performance depends on the component design, manufacturing quality, and actual usage conditions. If you are purchasing for commercial distribution, request the detailed bill of materials and relevant test documentation from HIHO before making durability claims.

Compare HIHO Front Opening Luggage Sizes

Choosing the correct suitcase size depends on your trip duration, packing requirements, and airline baggage restrictions. HIHO lists two size options for this model.

Note: Confirm exact dimensions, weight, usable capacity, and airline acceptance with HIHO before purchasing. The available product information does not establish that either size meets every airline’s carry-on requirements.

How to Select the Right Size

Consider these factors before placing an order:

• 20-inch suitcase: Consider this option for short business trips, weekend travel, or lighter packing needs.
• 25-inch suitcase: Consider this option when you need more packing space for longer trips.
• Commercial orders: Confirm carton dimensions, shipping weight, color availability, and minimum order quantities directly with the manufacturer.

How to Evaluate Front Opening Luggage Before Buying

Use the following steps to assess whether this suitcase meets your travel or sourcing requirements.

1. Define your travel needs. Decide whether you need a compact suitcase for short trips or a larger model for extended travel.
2. Check the opening layout. Confirm how the front compartment is arranged and whether it accommodates the items you regularly carry.
3. Inspect the locking system. Ask whether the embedded combination lock is TSA-compatible and request supporting product documentation. A combination lock should not automatically be described as TSA-approved without verification.
4. Evaluate wheel and handle performance. Test rolling stability, turning, handle adjustment, and comfort on different surfaces.
5. Review product testing. HIHO lists handle vibration testing for 500 cycles and telescopic pull testing for 3,000 cycles. Request the applicable test reports, methods, and acceptance criteria to understand what these figures demonstrate.
6. Confirm wholesale specifications. For OEM or ODM projects, agree on materials, colors, branding, packaging, samples, lead times, and quality inspection requirements before production.

Following this checklist helps you compare products using measurable requirements rather than marketing descriptions alone.
